Unbeatable duo for public buildings: the HOPPE technologies Sertos® and SecuSan®
Public buildings, such as sports facilities, schools or offices, place particularly high demands on the durability of door fittings: it is not uncommon for hundreds of people to use them within a short period of time – not always with particular care – and they must still work flawlessly even after many years.
HOPPE has developed a special solution for this: Sertos®, a clip-in connection with ball locking mechanism for handle sets in public buildings. Handle sets with Sertos® are extremely durable: during the PIVCERTPlus test carried out by Velbert test institute in Germany, the Sertos® connection underwent 1,000,000 (!) test cycles without sustaining any functional impairments. This means that the handle sets exceed the requirements set by DIN EN 1906 for grade 4 of Category of Use five times over! Sertos® is therefore particularly suitable for public and commercial buildings.
A useful addition: the extensive Sertos® product range also includes variants with the antimicrobial SecuSan® finish, which immediately and permanently suppresses the growth of germs on the handle. This solution offers active protection exactly where Sertos® is typically used – namely in public facilities. The fact that SecuSan® is completely maintenance-free and wear-free makes the combination of these two technologies even more interesting.
A HOPPE handle with an antimicrobial finish stops infections via handles in public spaces and is therefore particularly useful in busy public buildings.
