MiniLock offers a practical and subtle solution to lock interior doors without a drilled keyhole from the inside, thereby creating privacy. The mechanism has been discreetly integrated into the rose and is available in many series with an extensive choice of finishes. Simple to install in only a few steps.
Handle Sets with Lockable Handle Rose
MiniLock is a subtle non-keyed locking solution for many attractive series from the HOPPE product range. It is suitable for interior doors without a drilled keyhole where it should still be possible to lock the door. In contrast to many other solutions, with MiniLock the non-keyed locking is integrated into the rose and not the handle which means there is a considerably greater selection of handle designs available.
MiniLock is available for a wide range of different HOPPE series. Changing the handle design at a later date is also no problem: Every pair of Quick-Fit handles from the HOPPE product range is compatible with MiniLock. As the mechanism operates independently of the lock, MiniLock can also be retrofitted to any door without a drilled keyhole.
MiniLock won the silver medal in the ‘Carpentry, Locks, Sun Protection’ category at the ‘Trophées Batinfo de l'Innovation 2025’ awards.

Subtle Design
The locking system has been discreetly integrated into MiniLock handle roses. The system uses a small sliding button next to the handle neck, which which matches the rose’s finish – just like the emergency release on the outside.
Easy to Use and Operate
Instead of turning a key, simply push the sliding button on the rose upwards, e. g. with your thumb – this is all it takes to lock the handle so it can no longer be operated. A quick downward movement of the sliding button releases the lock, and the door can be opened again. The rose on the opposite side is equipped with an emergency release. This means that the door can also be opened from the outside if necessary.

Handle sets with MiniLock are designed to be particularly robust and meet category of use class 3 requirements. This means they withstand intensive usage and are suitable for commercial buildings.
Quick And Easy Installation
Installing MiniLock is quick and easy – there is no special door preparation necessary. The supporting lugs of the two roses are pushed together through the drilled hole in the door. Then the lever that holds the spindle is inserted through both of the roses, afterwards, with just one screw, these are fastened to the door leaf. Now the receiver handle is put on the spindle and both handles are pressed firmly together. Thanks to the integrated clamping mechanism, they sit stable on the door, free from play.
