HOPPE at Security fair for the first time!
This year HOPPE is exhibiting at Security fair for the first time. The leading international trade fair for security, which takes place in Essen from 25 to 28 September, is an excellent platform for the company to showcase – in Hall 3, Stand C 20 – two of its most important areas of expertise: Proven, tested and certified mechanical break-in protection and convenient hardware solutions for Smart Home and Smart Building.
"Smart" products have been part of the European market leader’s portfolio of door and window hardware for some time: The proverbial quality of HOPPE’s mechanical products is combined with connectable electronic components to create high-quality solutions for Smart Home and Smart Building. At Security, HOPPE will not only present existing solutions, such as the SecuSignal® window handle with wireless communication and hardware with integrated finger scanner, but also introduce innovative hardware concepts for the Smart Home and Smart Building market.
In the field of mechanical break-in protection HOPPE focusses on SecuForte®, its innovative technology for window handles. Handles with SecuForte® lock automatically, a function which makes it almost impossible to move the window handle from the outside providing a completely new standard of burglary resistance!

SecuForte® – Simple. Different. More secure.
With SecuForte® technology, HOPPE is raising the bar when it comes to burglary resistance: Window handles with SecuForte® lock automatically – a unique security concept that effectively protects against unauthorised opening of the window from the outside. Handles with SecuForte® can only be opened from the inside and only by pushing the handle in the direction of the rosette – moving the handle from the outside is virtually impossible. While the handle might be broken off from the rosette with the application of massive force, the window itself however cannot be opened. This makes window handles with SecuForte® efficient against break-in attempts by both, piercing the glass seal and drilling into the framework as well as displacing the fitting from the outside.
New design: Pull handles with finger scanner
HOPPE is introducing a new generation of pull handles with built-in finger scanner. The scanning technology has now been incorporated more discreetly into the handle, which boasts a brand-new design featuring a D-shaped profile. This new look combines the modern, angular shapes that are proving increasingly popular on the market with the pleasing feel of a round handle. Needless to say, it also still offers that extra touch of convenience from having the scanner integrated directly and ergonomically sensible into the handle itself. “Unlocking” and opening the door can be done in one easy movement. The scanners used come from the manufacturer Idencom. They are especially easy to use and work regardless of climatic conditions.
Flat rosettes on windows –
including tried-and-tested anti-break-in technologies!
With the Austin series, HOPPE is offering a range of window handles that give your windows that truly special touch with their flat rosettes. The reduced rosette height gives it a minimalist and sleek touch, which puts the handle itself in the spotlight. In the standard version, switching to the new design is particularly simple. It can easily be retrofitted even by nonspecialists – a unique advantage in the retro-fit sector. Four different versions with and without Secustik® technology and lockable types with Secu100® technology not only make particularly attractive impression but also offer tried-and-tested anti-break-in technology. The Secustik® technology makes unauthorised displacement of the window fitting from the outside more difficult and therefore offers basic security against break-ins. Secu100® prevents the locked window handle from being forcibly turned or torn off up to a force of 100 Nm.
SecuSignal® – More than opening and closing
HOPPE window handles do more than just open and close windows. SecuSignal® window handles with wireless communication, for example, transmit a wireless signal when moved. And they do so using energy generated by this movement itself – without the need for any batteries or maintenance! In a Smart Home system, this wireless signal might be a key piece of information, for example if the heating is to be controlled efficiently. SecuSignal® operates on the basis of the EnOcean standard and is therefore compatible with many popular systems such as Somfy TaHoma or wibutler. The practical handles with wireless communication have also been given a smaller wireless circuit board, which allows for a more compact design. These “new” SecuSignal® handles are available for the Amsterdam, Toulon and Atlanta series – the latter designs in lockable versions with Secu100® + Secustik® anti-break-in technology as well.
