SecuForte® – Simple. Different. More secure.
With SecuForte® technology, HOPPE is raising the bar when it comes to burglary resistance: Window handles with SecuForte® lock automatically – a unique security concept that effectively protects against unauthorised opening of the window from the outside. Handles with SecuForte® can only be opened by pushing the handle in the direction of the rosette – moving the handle from the outside is virtually impossible. While the handle might be broken off from the rosette with the application of massive force, the window itself however cannot be opened. This makes window handles with SecuForte® efficient against break-in attempts by both, piercing the glass seal and drilling into the framework as well as displacing the fitting from the outside.
Convenient contactless opening
HOPPE expertise for smart homes: Convenient contactless opening through the pull handle allows you to unlock your front door even with your hands full. As they approach the door, authorised individuals are automatically detected by an encrypted signal emitted by a transponder in the shape of a key fob. A spotlight on the ground indicates that the approaching person is authorised to enter the house. All they have to do to disengage the front door’s motorised lock and be able to open the door is to move their foot across the spotlight – contactless convenience. An integrated safety feature prevents you from unintentionally activate the opening of the door from inside. You can set the spotlight to different colours to ensure that it is clearly visible on any kind of ground surface. The control unit for secure access is located in the inside half set. It is easy for the installer to assemble, as no extra cut-out is necessary.
Burglary-resistant wireless window handle for central locking
HOPPE’s new burglary-resistant wireless window handles are an innovative convenience and security component for central locking systems for buildings. The handles feature an electro-mechanical locking mechanism in the rosette. When integrated in a building’s central locking system, they work as follows: a wireless signal is sent to the system if a handle is moved, informing the system what position this handle is in. A handle that is in the closed position is automatically locked by the system, and can only be opened if the system issues approval to do so (within the parameters set by the user). If this is the case, the window handle is unlocked and can be turned as usual. The user can “ask” whether the window can be opened by simply pressing a small push button on the handle rosette, which then either displays a green or red light.
New design: Pull handles with finger scanner
HOPPE is introducing a new generation of pull handles with built-in finger scanner. The scanning technology has now been incorporated more discreetly into the handle, which boasts a brand-new design featuring a D-shaped profile. This new look combines the modern, angular shapes that are proving increasingly popular on the market with the pleasing feel of a round handle. Needless to say, it also still offers that extra touch of convenience from having the scanner integrated directly and ergonomically sensible into the handle itself. “Unlocking” and opening the door can be done in one easy movement. The scanners used come from the manufacturer Idencom. They are especially easy to use and work regardless of climatic conditions.
SecuSignal® – More than opening and closing
HOPPE window handles do more than just open and close windows. SecuSignal® window handles with wireless communication, for example, transmit a wireless signal when moved. And they do so using energy generated by this movement itself – without the need for any batteries or maintenance! In a Smart Home system, this wireless signal might be a key piece of information, for example if the heating is to be controlled efficiently. SecuSignal® operates on the basis of the EnOcean standard and is therefore compatible with many popular systems such as Somfy TaHoma or wibutler. The practical handles with wireless communication have also been given a smaller wireless circuit board, which allows for a more compact design. These “new” SecuSignal® handles are available for the Amsterdam, Toulon and Atlanta series – the latter designs in lockable versions with Secu100® + Secustik® anti-break-in technology as well.
Add some special touches! Trendy finishes by HOPPE
HOPPE is now expanding the colour palette for its handles of excellence with eight new finishes, including four metallic tones. Charcoal and black – both available in a glossy and satin effect – are particularly striking when set against dark door leaves and window profiles. The brass and copper tones – also produced in a glossy or satin effect – go particularly well with today’s trend wards metallic surfaces on furniture and home accessories. The high-quality appearance of the new finishes is long-lasting, even with intensive use or in harsh climatic conditions. They have Resista®, the ten-year guarantee and are subject to continuous quality inspections. When new, they meet the requirements of the European standard EN 1670.
New product families –
Austin and Hamburg Series are now available for interior doors
HOPPE has extended two appealing series in the duraplus® product line: Austin and Hamburg now include interior door sets alongside window handles. The Austin Series with its eye-catching angular shape blends in well with the plain, design favoured in today’s homes. Austin window handles are combined with flat rosettes; a rose version is available for interior doors that shows off the angular handle shape: the new compact rose surrounds the handle neck by only a few millimetres. As one of the most recent additions to the HOPPE range, Hamburg was previously only available with the innovative SecuForte® window handle technology. The attractive design with its fine contours and harmonious interplay of square and round design elements is now available for doors.
