Burglars will try several methods to get into the house through a window. If it cannot be pried open \u2013 perhaps because the homeowner was clever enough to use mushroom-head blocking devices \u2013 the next point of attack is the window handle. This is because the keyed cylinder is not located in the handle part, but in the rosett body. In other words, it is not the handle that is locked, but the rosette that holds the handle. If the burglar actually manages to apply enough force to turn the handle, the rosette remains on the window profile and continues to keep the window secure.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n
