It is not only located next to the well-known luxury hotel G\u00fctsch, but also has a rather unusual concept for a location like this. In the cooperative building, there are only rented apartments at particularly low rental rates. The building is owned by GFA, a non-profit housing cooperative based in Lucerne. In 2007, it announced a competition for architects, which led to the decision to establish a new building based on a design by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmjs.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MMJS Jauch-Stolz Architekten AG.<\/a> This included an almost 200-metre-long and 30-metre-wide building with multiple angles containing 56 apartments on the wooded hillside.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-3\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-bootstrap-blocks-row row\">\n\t\n\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-3\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-6\">\n\t\t\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2012, the building complex was completed with the striking, naturally greyed wood cladding. All apartments have been designed to benefit from both the sun and the breathtaking view over the city and Lake Lucerne. The top floor&nbsp;\u2013 with communal rooms and large roof terraces&nbsp;\u2013 is available for all residents to share. A small but fine detail also plays a role here: HOPPE\u2019s handle of excellence on the doors and windows! Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoppe.com\/gb-en\/series\/AMSTER\">Amsterdam<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoppe.com\/gb-en\/series\/STOCKH\">Stockholm<\/a> stainless steel models in traditional and cranked L-shape and with a matt finish fit seamlessly into the attractive design of the G\u00fctschh\u00f6he residential complex.
