As part of the building regulations set out under approved document Q, states all easily accessible doorsets should be secure doorsets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Door and Hardware Federation\u2019s (DHF) technical specification TS 008:2022 has been shown to protect against attacks mentioned as part of the secure doorset requirements outlined within document Q.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TS008 is a security standard that offers a means of evaluation against opportunist attacks including protection against letterbox fishing and letterbox manipulation while allowing post, to pass through freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ARRONE AR708HS TS008 letterplate has successfully passed TS008 manipulation testing and simulating attempts to operate a lock\/latch on the inside of the door through the letterplate.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n
