Nearly half of UK homeowners spent money improving their properties last year; a trend set to continue beyond lockdown.

According to Rated People’s Home Improvements Trends Report, 46% of all homeowners invested in their living spaces. Top of the list was replacing internal doors, with homeowners opting for more modern styles.

With more than half of the homeowners planning to improve their homes in 2021, manufacturers need to make sure that they cater to the latest interior trends with architectural ironmongery that complements the designs.

Reflecting the latest design trends

With people seeking more metallic colours and a luxury feel in their interiors, HOPPE’s ironmongery has followed suit. Brass-coloured, copper-coloured, black and anthracite finishes have been added to the range. All colours are available in either a polished or satin effect, allowing manufacturers to co-ordinate door and window hardware with other fixtures and furniture in the room.

Pair with contemporary design

These finishes can be paired with some of HOPPE’s most popular contemporary handle designs. The Amsterdam, Dallas and Los Angeles series all offer choices for interior door and window handles as well as tilt and slide handles and lift and slide handles for French and patio doors. Slimline handles for pocket doors are also available. 

For interior doors, there is also a variety of roses. In addition to the standard rose, manufacturers can also select flat or mini roses to provide even more design options in keeping with individual interior design styles. The mini rose is just 30mm wide, allowing the craftsmanship of the door to be the focal point of the design.

Deliver style and functionality

The door handles use HOPPE’s Quick-Fit and Quick-FitPlus connection which allow the handle to be installed much more quickly than standard handles. The integrated blocking mechanism in the receiver handle ensures that the handle does not come loose over time resulting in a long-lasting product that requires minimal maintenance.

Patented Variofit^® technology also allows for easy adjustments to be made to the length of the spindle to fit different window profile sizes and materials. This is enabled by means of a pressure spring fitted on the spindle in the inside of the window handle.

The window handles also benefit from HOPPE’s Secustik^® technology. Secustik^® is a jamming-device that provides integrated security, making it more difficult to move the window fitting from the outside while allowing normal use from the inside.
