V\u00fdrobky se hodnot\u00ed na z\u00e1klad\u011b posouzen\u00ed \u017eivotn\u00edho cyklu, kter\u00e9 ukazuje r\u016fzn\u00e9 vlivy na \u017eivotn\u00ed prost\u0159ed\u00ed. Evropsk\u00e9 normy EN 15804 a ISO 14025 definuj\u00ed z\u00e1kladn\u00ed pravidla pro environment\u00e1ln\u00ed prohl\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed o stavebn\u00edch v\u00fdrobc\u00edch. EPD vytvo\u0159en\u00e9 v souladu s t\u011bmito normami lze pou\u017e\u00edt k dal\u0161\u00edmu v\u00fdpo\u010dtu environment\u00e1ln\u00ed n\u00e1ro\u010dnosti cel\u00fdch
